State Theatre: Dress Code
The State Theatre is a public venue and standard public decency laws apply.
Basically, you should at least have as much coverage as if you were going to the beach,
with the addition that your butt cheeks have to have some coverage (no thongs or strings).
These rules have been placed by the theatre and exist so the theatre won't get *too* many
complaints so that we can keep the show going. The theatre staff will enforce these rules as
needed. If you are unsure of a particular costume, either call the theatre
at (530) 529-2787 for confirmation, or bring something extra along in case they say you have
to wear more.
Also, if you intend to get a bite to eat afterward and wind down a little before heading home,
remember that most diners have a "no shirt, no shoes, no service" policy for both girls and guys.
No, a bra doesn't count as a shirt. ;)
Thank you for your understanding, see you at the show!
